Mary's Christmas

Bread of Heaven to the House of bread was born
Word of God in silence speaking
Helpless King in straw was sleeping
The Grand Miracle in flesh lay hidden
Mary's heart was pierced, as His side would be
Soul of innocence our sins to blot
Wood of the manger, wood of the cross
Heaven's loss became our gain
God to us in weakness came!
