Big Bang Dance

Far off light just now seeing
Traveling long to reach our eyes
Through this vast and curving space
Winking out a light of long ago dawning
Of a time when space began to stretch
And stars condensed to birth their light
And the worlds began their spinning dance
And in the belly of the universe
The pulse of life was newly felt
The song of days and sighs of night
The Master singing the notes of dawning
Heating up the fires of heaven
To forge the elements of His song
Only a glimpse of the Mind Eternal
Opening notes in a song unending
That will forever fill our souls
With music that soars beyond our hearing
Dispelling all darkness, filling all space
Inviting to join His unending dance!
