Now life has shown me what it is made of,
I can’ t fight and wish to live long,
I dream not of a perfect life with lots of cash,
Rather I fight on to what I believe is right,
Through the struggles and the pain,
I know I will make it in the end,
No happiness is more than I can get,
When I know I live a life of a good man,
Please let me hang on to my faith and my soul,
God help me mend this anger and stress,
You are the one, who fulfills wishes and wants,
Then let me lead a life without denial,
At times I choose to give up this fight,
Throw in the gloves and give up now,
But there is something that sparks the flame,
That makes me want to hang in for just one more day,
So many have struggled and made it through in life,
I want to be one of them, who makes it across,
I’ll build my own bridge and supply my own rope,
All I need you to do is watch over me and give me hope,
