Suffering In Silence

You and I sit under the shadow of this tree,
I wish I could take you away and show you the meaning of being free,
Look in your eyes sends shivers down my spines,
Pain in your heart shatters my hope,
How can I let you be when you have become a part of me,
My love for you can never come to an end,
Unburden your pain onto shoulders of mine,
Every moment apart weakens me to my limit,
Screaming in terror my heart awakens from these nightmares,
Crying in silence I pass each moment,
Why must you suffer while I watch and wait?
