Seeing you today,
Reminds me why I changed my ways,
Back when we were as one,
Couldn’t imagine our love would be undone,
The smile of mine that gave you hope,
Without it however did you cope,
I see you’ve stayed the same,
What ever did you gain,
When you tore me up inside,
That was some ride,
I failed as a man,
I gave up my life and ran,
Into your arms I saw myself stay,
Instead you decided to go away,
Leaving me behind with a lesson I should’ve learned,
Seeing you today, my flame for you still burns.
