I don't believe this,
After all this years,
You still creeping in my thoughts,
Not leaving me alone after all that's done,
Thought you were gone for sure,
The day you walked through that door,
Out my life, never again to come back,
But now you're back-know that I want nothing,
What could have been? And should have been?
Thinking these crazy thoughts,
Makes me feel as if I betray myself,
Shackled for a lifetime for no end in sight,
Never knew you could do this to me,
Without your presence, and your voice,
You tremor through my mind,
As if you still hold me and choke me,
Just let me breathe free,
It's my God given right,
Don't blemish my present,
With the guilt you left a while back,
I am happy with this life,
Sure it isn't perfect,
But then would it have been better-
If I was with you?
