Lust and greed,
Fulfill my needs,
Desires of wealth,
And promise of a good health,
Through the brim of passion,
I seek desire in each action,
No stone left unturned,
Thousands of memories unfurled,
Pray to the almighty tonight,
And may your sins weaken,
In numbers at least,
For when you least know the answer,
Your shadow clings closer,
A gadfly I am reminded of today,
You set yourself apart,
As if Sun differs from the moon,
One claims to give life,
While the other provides tender light-
Quenching the passion of millions-
Today will not be any different,
Change occurs in sequence,
A cycle bound to carry on,
With black bands you suppress,
The ever-tingling coldness creeps,
Within each soul lies the spark,
That is brighter than our Sun,
Round and round it forms the chain,
Leaving no hasty retreat behind,
This cynical poets chants once more,
On life and death as it comes tonight.
