My Image Egami

I became soiled-
In resistance,
Forgetting that I have a choice-
Under the constant fear-
Of the watchful eye,
I became the poster child,

The image I portrayed,
Satisfies the criterion,
However, I am left to wonder-
Who is this image?
When I am in presence of a mirror.
