The full Moon sparkles so far away;
Awesome display in the night sky.
Stars which usually appear bright,
Seem dull beside the full Moon.
Cloudless night intensifies the splendor
As constellations twinkle merrily.
Galaxies far away glimmer softly,
Their presence light-years distant.
Mountain peaks stand proud,
Christened by the glittery sheen.
Trees cast voluminous shadows
Traced onto the night black land.
Wolves howl and shield their own
From forces felt but not understood.
Nocturnal creatures stealthily run
Under bushes for protection.
The forest quietens as night progresses.
Animals scurry homeward for sleep.
Night deepens into an eerie stillness.
