The patio is a lovely spot
Anytime of year it suits me
The corners of walls provide my slots
Enough breeze and light to sustain me
Flowers provide colour and fragrance
Peregrines soar and float high above
The furry-fuzzy dogs roll in the grass
The Lady, with her coffee, exudes love
Silent I plot my areas needed transitions
I blend into the darkness or light
My silky webs I carefully position
Insects, a necessary food source, my diet
The Lady calmly checks out my artistic web show
She compliments their silky airy beauty
I strut my 8-legged dance, my 8 eyes aglow
The wall corners safely mine, the Lady says
"I'm a cutie" !!!
