Hot humid breezes sway my windchimes
Bright melodies sing
Cardinals whistle-chirp their greetings
Mockingbirds answer
I whistle-chirp my human greetings
Is that laughter I hear from the nests?
Crickets creak-snap louder
Red Footed little green frogs turn up their volume
Vivid green leaved-bush branches swat one another
Ducks on parade waddle to their pond and "quack" at me
Traffic stops and drivers honk their horns
Laughter floats as we enjoy our bbq on the patio
