Thunder rumbles far and near
Grey clouds dominate the sky
Rain is falling down the road
Though my yard is dry!
Thunder rumbles near and far
My blue sky now has moved on
Soft sprinkles now cool my yard
Frogs happily gather in the lawn
Thunder ceases to boom and shake
Evening has calmly descended
Small puddles are all that remain
Nature in charge as God intended
