Temperatures encourage garden planning
Sitting at a small table, I enjoy insect antics
Praying Mantis strike defiant poses on new garden planters
Grasshoppers inspect the praying mantis
Spiders, eyes bright, survey and plan new web sites
Lizards patrol and puff their colourful throats
Baby birds peek from nests high in trees
The babies serenade my patio
Peregrines soar and float gracefully
Egrets, elegant in their white finery, strut and preen
Creamy coffee finished,
I note my movements are accepted by my wild life ensemble
Smiling, my mind overrun with plans for setting out my garden
