Evening Reigns

Darkness cloaks the land
Evening reigns, darkness her signature
Raven appears, an apparition, on the balcony railing
Chimaera snow cat, purring, approaches
Wind chimes softly serenade
The night stars wink in the velvet black sky
Warmth, from the fireplace, momentarily ignored
The Lady, cloak pulled close, wishes on a star...
