Vanilla cotton candy clouds a patchwork masterpiece

Bright planters are now home to new flowers
Freshly watered they stretch to the sun
Admiring their beauty, I tenderly touch their leaves and petals
I sit my coffee mug down and smile at my plants
Butterflies visit to welcome the new "family"
I relax and enjoy the quiet time
A slow movement behind my coffee mug catches my eye
Bright eyes survey as the green-brown body climbs my coffee mug
Tail swaying, he looks "armour dressed", and ready for battle
His tongue flicks into my coffee as I softly laugh
