Narnian Dreams

Banners flying from turrets so tall,
Mid glorious colors of trees in fall,
High Kings and Queens all riding out
In the Name of Aslan we raise a great shout.

~~~
With broadswords on horses and bucklers on our back,
From Narnian air, we gain strength that none of us lack.
And with bold tunes played by Tumnus the fawn,
Calling up memories of Glory, we gallop on.
~~~

A cool wind from the East fills our chests
Kindling visions from all our past quests,
With dreams of the sea and voyage to its End,
With enemies to fight and friends to defend.

~~~
Dryads and Naiads all dancing around
Leading the way to The Stone Table's Mound.
Here we stop to give thanks for freedom from sin,
And praise The Lion that The Witch didn't win!
~~~

In spirits towering so high, it's to the North we ride out
In search of adventure and glory, our foes we'll route.
And as we ride past the old Beaver's Dam,
We'll sound a loud blast on the horn of a ram.

~~~
Feel the thunder of centaurs as they shake the earth
And hearken to the wild songs of glorious mirth.
So come friends and be faint not of heart,
And find your way in, don't wait to start!
~~~

It's In through the Wardrobe, past the Lamppost,
Remembering the Glory of the Lion and all of His host,
Nor forgetting the courage of Reep the mouse.
So don't lie in your bed or stay in your house!

~~~
Come then with Peter, Susan, Edmond and Lucy,
Come young ones ,and ye come old!
Grab your clothes at the back of the Wardrobe.
Hold ye not back, but ye bold!
~~~

And seek your glory in The Lion's realm,
Changing your hat for a shining helm!
So don't just read the Books, but live them large;
Come for the harrowing of Hell; join the charge!

~~~
So come to the Country that never has an end,
And let The Lion cut away your hardened old skin
Leave your old self and your old ways behind,
'Cause it's always higher up and further in.
For Jeremy who will swim up The Waterfall
