Tried...Never Failed

if u had 2 walk, 2 b by her/his side,
if u never made it, could she/he, say u tried.
if u had 2 pray, so she/he could open their i's,
if she/he never saw a thing, could she/he say u tried.
if u had 2 swim, 4 her/his love, facing' a raging tide,
if u drowned while doing so, could she/he at least say u tried
if sorrow fell upon her/him, and u whipped her/his i's as she/he cried,

if pushed away, could she/he say u tried.
if all she/he needed, was n u 2 confide,
if she/he never said a thing, could she/he at least say u tried.
some can say u tried, but u quit so what the hell
but as 4 me they say I tried, and got her/him cause

P.S.
just b-cause u try, only 2 get rejected over and over again,
doesn’t mean u have 2 quit.
never give up on what u want or believe.
nothing is hopeless until u say I CANT,
and once u say that,( I CANT )
u’ve defeated the purpose 4 even trying...........
and only those who don't try, fail
never give up on what u believe in
even though you think its hopeless
( I Believed I Wouldn’t Fail )
