I close my eyes,
And picture you swinging,
In the forest covered garden,
Where we spend our afternoons,
So sweet are the moments,
Each kiss is like a rain drop,
Cleanses my soul,
And quenches my heart,
I sing you your favorite song-
Each night as you lay in your bed,
Lean over to hug you one more time,
And watch as you close your eyes,
Your smile leaves me in a puzzle,
Flushes away all my worries,
And fills me up with joyous memories,
Then there is your childish wink,
Who knew that I would cherish you so much?
I thank each and every day to the man up above,
For bringing you in my life that is now complete,
I love you now and always - my precious child.
