Promise

I made this promise,
And I cannot let you go,
Even though in the past I’ve broken many hearts,
Yours is the one I will cherish always,
This promise I make to you,
Today and forever,
The love that I share with you,
Is unlike the others,
This promise I will keep no matter what happens,
For I will hold my part,
As long as you don’t change your love,
The desires that I share with you-
Uncommon among the rest of the world,
For my promise to you will not be broken,
Just believe in me,
And I will come and be there for you,
As you have been there for me,
So do not let anyone change your views,
For I made this promise-
To YOU.
