awakened and disorientated
wet, breathless, isolated
call out...whimpering.
suddenly she is there
comforting, reassuring
familiar scent of love.
cradled ‘tween her-hood
denied, withheld as a babe
snuggled deeply in need.
bedrock satisfaction at last
drawn, pulled from very soul
this mothering of me.
questioning, seeking her face
murmurs of softest greetings
love spoken with nary a word.
eager, hungry, starving
affirming the non-verbal
absolute love re-echoed.
awakened and disorientated
sweat wet, chilled, shaking
whimpering...calling out.
her name, her name, her name...
suddenly she is there
holding, hugging, kissing, nibbling...
familiar scent of love.
