The truck tire is a super tree swing
Granddad contoured a special area for this fun
The big old tree, many strong limbs, stands proudly
Suspended by chains from a strong branch, the tire so grand
A grassy oval proudly the width of the swing’s arc
Many hours of little girl time spent happily flying”
Sometimes just quiet moments enjoying the cool shade
Horned toads and the child share a special bond
Mud pies also enjoy creation and play time here
As fireflies light the scene, she quietly smiles goodnight
And heads inside the family home
