Darkness claims the patio and yard
Quiet, quiet calms the tiredness!
Hazy night as a light fog is forming
The stars are invisible beyond the mist
I pet my furry fuzzy dogs lovingly
They give me their loving toothy grins
The quietness is soothing
I shut down the computer for the night
Turning off the lights, I check the doors
Yawning, I walk slowly down the hall quietly,
I peek into my daughters rooms
Hearing their soft breathing, I smile
The dogs brush my legs as they each claim a teen bed
I smile at this lovely sight
Entering my bedroom the bed looks so comfortable
The Sandman awaits!!
