Shadows brushed aside as an eerie irritants,
Glancing to my right, my eyes swell up,
Seeing what I have searched for so long ago-
With a whisper kiss it vanishes,
Sadness returns to its original state,
Leaving blemishes of the events that unfolded,
Knowing that these memories leave a bitter taste,
I succumb to the unsatisfying appetite to seek out,
Onward I continue in a deranged state of being,
As if I am locked up somewhere,
Four walls erect one next to the other,
Stumbling upon my own reaction,
No motion is present to lead me to safety,
Harness of potent magic now binds this place,
You wonder where he goes in a hurry.
But, only the destination will reveal the journey,
Cold whisks across my morning face,
Bringing with it the familiar cycle,
If I could have dreamt for a few more seconds,
What tales would I have had to share with you today.
