never met her
but knew her
and loved her
despite herself

never met her
and listened to others
judging her, disliking her
because of what they told you

thought you knew her
never got to know her,
maybe you should have instead of running from her

loved her and will miss her
because you did know
that there was so much more to her
i can't say
i knew her well
but i knew her better
the truth to tell
than "i'll love you forever most likely"

will miss her
and her stories,
laughter, joy, and yes her love.
