Friends And Lovers

We started out as friends, a long time ago
Then our feeling started to change
You and I started thinking, if we were to move forward
Would the friendship between us remain the same

When we’ve been friends for so long

Touching myself, caressing myself thinking only of you
I won’t keep lying to you or I
These feeling, I’ve had for some time
But they’re hard to express, when each time i see you
I give up while my heart keeps trying
I know being with you would be the best
And the good times would never seem to end
I would trade the love and keep what we have
If it meant we couldn’t be friends
I know you're wondering why am I telling you this
Long after you’ve been gone
Because if she ever mistreated you or let you get away
Your friend has a place you can call home
